My journey into BDSM began in 1997 within a small, private invitation only dungeon family of mostly older Leathermen who practiced power as service, stewardship, discipline, and care.

They welcomed me as one final, unexpected mentee. In time, I became the only female Dominant and the sole heir to my kink family’s legacy.

From them I learned enduring principles of love, independent thought, discipline, expression, and non-judgment. They taught me that true authority never forces itself; trust grows through respect, honesty, kindness, consistency, and service to community.

Dominance leads, protects, motivates, steadies, and recenters. It draws others closer. The most meaningful transformations occur where safety, negotiation, standards, boundaries, and aftercare are honored.

In those early years I was simply and affectionately called Lady—a name that later evolved into Lady Elysium, and eventually into the voice now also known as Professor Payton.
